Job Summary

This is an opportunity to join TGI Sport in the newly created role of People & Culture Business Partner, reporting to the Global Head of Human Resources. As a key member of the Global HR Team, you will be responsible for the people and culture delivery for the Australian group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a culture that aligns with business needs and increases employee engagement
  • Provide quality, timely advice and coaching support to managers on employee relations and industrial relations issues
  • Coach managers and coordinate the development and effective implementation of action plans and initiatives
  • Advise managers on effectively managing employee performance and development, ensuring employees have clear objectives, development plans, and receive ongoing feedback
  • Manage grievances, disciplinary matters, and staff-related complaints requiring advice, mediation, or investigation
  • Manage the employee life cycle within Australia

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in a People & Culture Business Partner role
  • Generalist HR background and experience
  • Proven track record in facilitating change and the ability to influence outcomes
  • Experience in employee relations and grievance handling
  • Proven experience as a strong business partner with the ability to influence, coach, and persuade managers, and provide guidance as appropriate
  • A values-driven and influential approach to leadership
  • Solid generalist human resources/employee relations skills, thorough understanding, and ability to interpret Awards/Agreements, contracts, and entitlements
  • Appreciation of Workplace Health & Safety, Injury Management/Return to Work, and WorkCover management
