Key Responsibilities
  • Manage disposal and acquisition of property interests, including leases, licences, easements, and rights of carriageway or access.
  • Review contracts related to acquisition of property rights and provide legal insights to support strategic decisions.
  • Investigate and report on how statutes impact land access and project property requirements.
  • Engage with landowners and facilitate timely land access.
  • Coordinate access requests, notices, and enquiries with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Oversee implementation of Property Management Plans by subcontractors and third parties.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to align expectations with project processes and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate property records and site-specific documentation.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Conveyancing, Law, Real Estate Contracts or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in property sector management and conveyancing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of legal aspects of property transactions and ability to analyse issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with property or project management software.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines; collaborative team player.
  • Knowledge of NSW Land Registry, Property laws and statutes is highly regarded.
