Executive Motel Supervisor Opportunity

Overview:

We seek an accomplished hospitality manager or management couple to oversee the operation of our 14-room motel in Cooma NSW.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Office Management: Ensure seamless guest check-in and check-out processes, handle inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in rooms, ensuring a positive guest experience.
  • General Repairs and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and upkeep of the property.
  • General Management: Oversee daily operations, manage staff, and make informed decisions to drive business growth.
  • Roster Management: Create schedules for staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing conflicts.
  • Guest Satisfaction and Customer Service: Foster positive relationships with guests, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintenance of Order and Cleanliness: Ensure the motel remains tidy and organized, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Clear Communication: Effectively communicate with staff, guests, and owners, providing clear instructions and resolving conflicts efficiently.

Required Competencies & Skills:

  • Office Operations: Proven experience in managing a busy office environment, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Booking Software Proficiency: Familiarity with using booking software to manage reservations, rates, and inventory.
  • Microsoft Office: Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Conflict Resolution: Experience in resolving conflicts, mediating disputes, and maintaining a positive working environment.
