Teaching Role Description

Our school seeks a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our learning community.

As a Year 5 or Year 6 Classroom Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to students, promoting their academic growth, and fostering a love for learning.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent teaching skills, be committed to the values of Catholic education, and have a strong understanding of the curriculum and its implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant teaching qualifications
  • VIT registration
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education (or willingness to work towards accreditation)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
