We are seeking a seasoned mobile engineer to play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of our mobile application. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to delivering outstanding service to our members.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage the latest technology and build innovative features.

  • Designing and implementing mobile applications using Java and Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS)
  • Maintaining Azure DevOps pipeline and ensuring code quality through regular code reviews
  • Participating in the entire application development lifecycle and contributing to the growth of our Technology team
  • Ensuring code compliance with RACV security guidelines and standards

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, Mathematics, or Computer Systems (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in developing native mobile applications using Java and Kotlin (Android) and/or Swift (iOS)
  • Experience with Android Studio and/or X Code, as well as backend technologies like RESTful JSON APIs and microservices
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
