Job Overview

This is an opportunity for a driven professional to join as an HSE Advisor. Assistance with relocation is available.

About the Role

The HSE Advisor will assist project teams in implementing policies and procedures, ensuring audit requirements are met.

  • Aid project teams in improving their HSE performance;
  • Review and monitor key project performance indicators for HSE;
  • Assist with internal audits related to HSE, reviewing audit reports and closing corrective actions;
  • Investigate significant incidents, making recommendations and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aid project teams in preparing and implementing a HSE Plan;
  • Train and coach staff on company policies, procedures, and systems;
  • Monitor key project performance indicators for HSE;
  • Assist with internal audits related to HSE, reviewing audit reports and closing corrective actions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum two to three years' experience in a HSE role within the commercial construction industry;
  • Experience working with complex commercial construction projects;
  • Certificate IV OHS Management;
  • Exposure to the HSE accreditation process;
  • OFSC & AS/NZS4801 experience;
  • Ability to mentor project staff in preparing and implementing a HSE Plan.
