The Role

We're seeking a highly organized and proactive Events and Operations Assistant to join our Brisbane team. This hybrid role combines event coordination with operational and administrative responsibilities. You'll play a key part in setting up events, ensuring smooth office operations, and delivering high-quality support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in event setup and dismantling, adhering to Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Liaise with vendors, caterers, and internal teams to coordinate logistics.
  • Support with travel, accommodation, catering, and AV/VC requirements.
  • Monitor event supplies and manage orders as needed.
  • Book event spaces and coordinate seating arrangements.
  • Assist with monitoring and managing accurate event registrations and guest lists using our CRM system.
Requirements:
  • Front-of-house, reception, or administrative experience in a professional setting.
  • Basic to intermediate MS Suite skills.
  • An understanding of OH&S principles, particularly in event setups and manual handling.
  • Prior experience using a CRM system is beneficial but not essential – training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
