About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company as a Medical Sales Representative, promoting their market-leading portfolio to General Practitioners across the Central Coast territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing product sales and driving market share, conducting educational activities, meeting sales call requirements, and collaborating with the territory team to achieve collective success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory business plans to drive sales growth and market share
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, including General Practitioners and other key stakeholders
  • Conduct educational activities, such as dinner presentations and luncheons, to promote products and services
  • Meet sales call requirements and achieve sales targets
  • Collaborate with the territory team to achieve collective success and drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical information and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the therapeutic area, product, and market to provide strategic insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Medicine, or Business
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong understanding of the industry and market
  • Strong commercial and clinical acumen, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Previous sales experience, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Field sales and territory management experience, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
