We are seeking an Airport Service Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service at the airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a stress-free environment for customers traveling with Qatar Airways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality customer service at all touch points.
- Liaise constantly with various airport departments, including check-in, boarding gates, ramps, cargo, and lounges.
- Supervise service partners' activities to ensure smooth passenger acceptance.
- Direct arriving and departing passengers to their respective areas.
- Verify that passengers meet entry requirements, such as visas and residence permits.
- Coordinate with baggage handling teams, fueling companies, and catering suppliers for efficient turnaround operations.
- Handle company mail and perform pre- and post-flight administration duties.
- Resolve baggage claims and ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Requirements:
- A combination of a high school qualification and a minimum of two years of experience in a similar customer-facing role within the airport environment is required.
- Knowledge of airport functions, including passenger and baggage handling, weight and balance, and dangerous goods regulations is essential.
- The ability to work shifts, including weekends, is necessary.
