Job Overview

We are seeking a senior civil engineer with expertise in water infrastructure projects to lead our team in delivering complex projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and project delivery, with excellent technical knowledge and leadership skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams of engineers and designers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

You will also provide technical leadership and consultancy services to clients, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex water infrastructure projects including pipelines, treatment plants and pump stations.
  • Provide expert consultancy and detailed design engineering services for clients.
  • Collaborate with design teams, commercial teams and project management to create opportunities for growth.
  • Balance technical innovation with practical implementation, ensuring designs are excellent, buildable and deliverable.
  • Support planning, design, project delivery leadership and business development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent.
  • 15+ years experience in water and wastewater civil engineering.
  • Strong background in water industry consultancy, civil design and project delivery.
  • Proven track record of technical leadership for successful delivery of water infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety in design and Australian water industry standards.
  • Ability to mentor early or mid-career professionals.
