Psychology Lecturer

La Trobe University is seeking a motivated and experienced lecturer in psychology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate psychology programs, developing curriculum, coordinating subjects, assessing student work, and supporting students as they learn.

The department has a strong focus on research and teaching excellence, and the lecturer will contribute to this by undertaking scholarly work relevant to the development of learning and teaching in this discipline or professional field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and assess undergraduate psychology courses
  • Develop and coordinate subject materials
  • Support students through academic advising and mentoring
  • Engage in scholarly activities related to teaching and learning
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. PhD or Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  2. Proven ability to teach and assess in face-to-face, blended, and online modes
  3. Demonstrated ability to engage with and produce outputs related to the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
