Job Title: Consumer Involvement And Advocacy Lead

 

We are seeking an experienced Consumer Involvement and Advocacy Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will have significant experience engaging with consumers in research, health, disability, or social service sectors.

This part-time role focuses on building capacity for consumer engagement through the development and delivery of training materials and sessions. The lead will work closely with the Consumer Advisory Group, consumers, and research staff to embed and operationalise the Consumer Program across different organisations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to build productive relationships with diverse stakeholders, including consumers, researchers, clinicians, and students. They will also have a solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to working collaboratively with others and fostering a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Deliver Training Programs
  • Establish and Implement Consumer Engagement Policies and Frameworks
  • Manage Program Operations and Governance
  • Coordinate Advisory Group Meetings and Foster Relationships with Consumers and Stakeholders
  • Work Collaboratively with Cross-Functional Teams

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Health, Social Sciences, or Related Field
  • Significant Experience Engaging with Consumers in Research, Health, Disability, or Social Service Sectors
  • Strong Interpersonal, Collaboration, and Communication Skills
