Director

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the strategy and growth of our organisation.

As Director, you will be responsible for executing our organisational strategy, ensuring smooth operation and development. You will report to our Board of Directors and be accountable for key areas such as staff management, budget planning, analysis, monitoring and evaluation tools, compliance with laws and regulations, recruitment, reporting and cultural strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and driving the organisation's strategy based on quality standards
  • Participating in strategic planning, personnel management, budget control, and implementing performance indicators
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Recruiting and managing staff, including training and development
  • Reporting to the Board of Directors and stakeholders

  • Organising cultural events and festivals
  • Enhancing the organisation's economic model, ensuring profitability

  • Strengthening relationships with authorities, partners, education departments and cultural organisations
  • Fostering collaboration within the network of Australian Alliances Francaises

Recommended qualifications or professional experience include:

A Master's degree or equivalent is required, with experience in leading associative or cultural organisations, preferably with a board. Experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language is highly valued.
