At Trinity Grammar, our Language Faculty provides our students with every opportunity to achieve a high level of success at VCE but also to explore areas of French that sit beyond the standard curriculum. For our students, there is also a strong focus on communication and ample opportunities to excel in real-life and simulated use of the French language.

About the Role

  • Full Time | Fixed term (LSL cover)
  • Term 4, 2025
  • French Years 5-10
  • Experience in Primary and Secondary French teaching

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum
  • Ability to demonstrate effective teaching practices across different year levels
  • Provide regular feedback to students and maintain accurate records of progress
  • Actively participate in school events, meetings, and co-curricular activities as needed
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students thrive

About You

  • Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)
  • A strong background in teaching French
  • Outstanding knowledge of the subject curriculum
  • Skilled in creating meaningful connections with students and colleagues
  • Have a passion for introducing fresh, innovative teaching methods that inspire young minds
  • Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively and creatively with others to improve the quality of programs and enhance student outcomes
