About the role:

  • This is an office-based position working in a design space.
  • You will lead a team of engineers to undertake the design of mining and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in project management, ensuring engineering design meets client expectations and industry standards.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.

About you:

  • Exceptional experience in a consultancy environment in civil mining infrastructure as a team leader or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering to deliver mining and infrastructure projects, including earthworks design, road design, drainage infrastructure, site water management systems, levees, creek diversions, and dams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of civil engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address project challenges.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant tertiary education.
  • Certificate or similar accreditation in project management and delivery.
  • Proven industry experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in study management, preferably with experience in delivering mine closure studies.
