Infrastructure Accounting Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Accounting leader to oversee financial management across a major infrastructure portfolio. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in financial management, with expertise in project accruals, cashflow management, and asset accounting.

About the Role:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic advice on financial management for infrastructure projects, supporting teams in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within approved frameworks.
  • Manage timely capital project settlements and asset capitalisation in line with financial policies.
  • Liaise with auditors and lead reviews of accounting processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement processes, policies, and practices that underpin an evolved financial management framework for infrastructure asset accounting.
  • Evaluate and enhance infrastructure financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and provide analysis of performance and trends.
  • Partner with various teams and executives to build productive relationships and enable change management through delivery of training and educative materials.
Requirements:

Experience: 5+ years in financial management, preferably in the infrastructure sector.

Skills: Financial planning and analysis, project management, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CPA or CA.
