Job Title: Plantscape Team Leader

We are seeking a motivated and experienced team leader to join our plantscaping division in Newcastle. As a team leader, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and leading a team of plantscape technicians to deliver high-quality installations and services to our customers.

Ambiance creation, health, and wellbeing solutions provider creates bespoke ambiance, health, and wellbeing for businesses through tailored solutions. Our team designs and installs plantscapes in offices, hotels, shopping centers, restaurants, and office receptions, enhancing the work experience and delivering a productive environment.

This is a customer-focused role, ideally suited for someone with a desire to succeed and move up into more senior roles. You will assist the consultant on bespoke designs, implement the regional operational plan, and manage the on-site facility through stock ordering and following the plant health and hygiene process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the consultant on bespoke designs and deliver on the project installation
  • Implement the regional operational plan
  • Manage the on-site facility through stock ordering and following the plant health and hygiene process
  • Coach, mentor, and train the service team to achieve targets
  • Monitor and review service and installation productivity rates, seek improvement, and continually improve productivity, year on year
  • Conduct regular quality audits of specified client base and premises
  • Ensure company practices are met and identify opportunities to improve service standards
  • Ensure service efficiency is optimized through available tools and technology
  • Ensure the team's vehicles are maintained in a safe, reliable, and clean condition
  • Proactively resolve customer issues and develop long-term relationships

Requirements include 3 or more years of experience within the service industry, preferably horticulture, prior experience working within the plant hire industry (preferred), and experience with startups. The ideal candidate should have a high level of communication and commercial experience, drive to lead by example, set a high standard of customer service, and complaint resolution skills.
