Overview
Role: Installation Technician at Bendigo Advertiser. Responsibilities cover project ownership, planning, delivery leadership, technical support, customer assistance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement related to Sy-Klone product implementation.
Responsibilities
Project Ownership: Take full ownership of projects related to Sy-Klone product implementation from initiation to completion.
Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive project and strategy plans, assessing resources, timelines, and potential challenges to devise effective strategies.
Project Delivery Leadership: Lead the project delivery team, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Technical Expertise: Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle and address technical challenges during planning, design, or installation.
Customer Support: Assist customers with technical queries, troubleshooting, and product optimization recommendations.
Quality Assurance: Ensure product functionality aligns with specifications and meet quality standards through testing and inspection.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process and product improvements and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
Duties: Lead creation and submittal of technical documentation, assist in customer training, manage projects with reporting, oversee system design with drafting, and provide planning consultation including schedules and labor requirements.
Field Operations: Lead installation and troubleshooting field operations, coordinate with sales, act as lead engineer for product delivery and support, and manage service requests with Sy-Klone project team.
Engagement: Participate in marketing events and internal training activities as applicable.
Qualifications
Mechanical / Electrical Aptitude
Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification (Optional)
Commercial or heavy machine HVAC experience (Optional)
System design and installation experience (Optional)
Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
