Job Opportunity

Azure API specialists with 5-6 years of experience in API Gateway technologies and 2-4 years of proven expertise in Azure API Management (APIM) are sought after to bring strong skills in API lifecycle management, cloud-native architecture, security practices, and DevOps automation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and manage Azure API Management services, including policies, developer portals, and API lifecycle workflows.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and scalable API solutions.
  • Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
  • Monitor API performance and availability through Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to governance and security standards.
Key Qualifications
  • API Management & Integration: Strong hands-on experience with Azure API Management; expertise in policy configuration (rate limiting, transformations, caching, etc.); knowledge of API lifecycle operations (import/export, versioning, revisions); proficiency in RESTful API design with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation; experience setting up and customizing developer portals.
  • Security & Governance: Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and API key management; familiarity with Azure Key Vault and RBAC-based access control; knowledge of compliance and governance standards in cloud environments.
  • DevOps & Automation: Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; scripting capabilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python; hands-on knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent).
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Skilled in Azure monitoring and logging tools; ability to debug performance issues and fine-tune API behavior.
