Senior Aircraft Tool Designer

The role of Tool Design Engineer is to lead the development and implementation of tooling solutions for aircraft component manufacturing. This involves undertaking investigations, resolving issues, and providing technical support.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and resolve tooling problems encountered during production.
- Evaluate and address Tool Non-Conformance issues.
- Design and prepare new and modified production tooling.
- Maintain tool configuration control through effective database management.
- Provide technical assistance to Quality Assurance, including analysis and verification of data from coordinate measuring machines.
- Liaise with suppliers to achieve timely and cost-effective tool modification/manufacture.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S regulations and requirements.
- Deliver work assignments efficiently and effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience with CATIA V5 software is beneficial.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
- Understanding of OH&S implications within the field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Candidates must have unrestricted working rights.
