About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Design and Safety Assurance Professional to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our Infrastructure Solutions Australia business, you will play a critical role in supporting our delivery of existing nuclear projects and developing our internal nuclear expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects and assist with the transfer of knowledge, skills, and experience related to nuclear design, engineering, and safety assurance.
  • Develop internal processes and procedures to ensure compliance with nuclear design standards and codes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with nuclear projects.
  • Provide technical design substantiation and safety informed design process expertise.
  • Manage and maintain nuclear management systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver nuclear training programs.
  • Manage nuclear supply chains and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or other relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years' overall experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Knowledge and experience in safety informed design process, technical design substantiation, nuclear design standards and codes, construction and commissioning of facilities and infrastructure, regulation and licensing, nuclear management systems, processes and procedures, nuclear training development and delivery, and management of a nuclear supply chain.
  • Must have or be eligible for Defence security clearance.
