The Colorectal Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care. This role provides opportunities to work in a dynamic environment, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop your nursing skills.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Colorectal team, you will be responsible for providing evidence-informed nursing care that promotes health outcomes. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the healthcare team
  • Providing patient-centered care that respects individual needs and preferences
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve positive patient outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking
  • Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, and nights
  • Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred
