Job Title: Civil Project Engineers

We are seeking experienced Civil Project Engineers to join our team in Brisbane and Greater QLD region. As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the assessment of tenders, evaluating construction quality, safety, environmental, and traffic management plans, and undertaking surveillance activities on construction contract works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assessment of tenders received and provide recommendations
  • Evaluate construction quality, safety, environmental, and traffic management plans
  • Undertake surveillance activities on construction contract works, including manual audits and provisions
  • Report on project progress, issues, and performance
  • Compile finalisation documentation and assist in the compilation of as-constructed details
  • Document lessons learned and opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with the development of future planning for programs of works
  • Direct, monitor, and guide less experienced staff in their duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in roadworks (maintenance and works) with demonstrated experience in resurfacing, earthworks, pavements, and drainage works
  • Exposure to contract administration activities using TMR Contract Admin Systems (CAS) is a big advantage
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust)
  • RPEQ accreditation is a huge advantage
  • Must have a driver's licence and access to a mobile phone
