Job Title: Capital Projects Specialist

Capital Projects Specialist Job Summary:

As a Capital Projects Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our organisation's fixed assets initiatives. This position requires a finance professional with technical accounting expertise, strategic reporting skills, and leadership support abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end capital expenditure accounting, including project setup, cost tracking, and asset lifecycle activities
  • Support financial planning, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement
  • Administer structured asset financing and leasing for mobile equipment
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and enhance reporting tools
  • Ensure governance and compliance, and act as second-in-charge to the Manager during periods of leave or project secondments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CA/CPA qualification or near completion
  • Experience with SAP is essential
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and financial integrity
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A collaborative approach and readiness to step into leadership when needed
