Job Opportunity: Lead English Faculty

The English Faculty Lead is responsible for overseeing the quality of instruction, curriculum documentation, and physical resources within the faculty.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the quality of instruction for the faculty, with a focus on evidence-based teaching and learning processes.">
  • Ensure that assessments are valid, authentic, and appropriately reported, including both summative and formative assessment.">
  • Lead and manage staff within the faculty, including chairing regular team meetings, conducting classroom visits, and overseeing staff administration.">
  • Manage the physical resources for the faculty, including budgets, classroom equipment, capital forecasts, technology requirements, and the provision of appropriate resources.">
  • Ensure curriculum documentation is complete and accurate, based on the Understanding by Design framework.">
