Head of English Faculty, Years 7-12

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our team as Head of English Faculty, Years 7-12. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team to ensure the best learning outcomes for all students.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of success in teaching and leadership, with a strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire both staff and students.

As Head of Faculty, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the quality of instruction within the faculty, with a focus on evidence-based practice and student-centered learning.
  • Ensuring that assessments are valid, authentic, and appropriately reported, while supporting staff to teach responsively to student needs.
  • Leading and managing staff within the faculty, including chairing regular team meetings, conducting classroom visits, and overseeing staff administration.
  • Managing the physical resources for the faculty, including budgets, classroom equipment, and technology requirements.
