Job Title: Platform Engineer

This is a remote position that requires a skilled Platform Engineer to design, implement, and maintain the underlying infrastructure and platforms that support our Cloud Data Services (CDS) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Platform Management:
    Manage cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for CDS solutions, provision and configure cloud resources (VMs, storage, networking), and implement cloud infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform.
  • Data Warehouse Administration:
    Administer cloud-based data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), perform data modeling, ETL, and data integration tasks, and optimize data warehouse performance and query execution.
  • Data Analytics Tools:
    Manage and support data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), implement data visualization and reporting capabilities, and ensure data quality and integrity.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes.
  • Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Data Engineer).
  • Experience with specific cloud-based data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience with data lake and data lakehouse architectures.
