Lacuna Clinical Psychology is a private psychology clinic located in Mayfield East, NSW. Our space is intentionally designed to feel warm, calm and welcoming — not like a typical clinical office. This is for the benefit of both clients and clinicians. We exclusively work with Clinical Psychologists and Registrars who are passionate about attachment-oriented, evidence-based approaches to therapy.

Role Description

We're hiring a Clinical Psychologist or Registrar to join our team in Mayfield East, NSW. This role can be full-time or part-time, with flexibility to suit your availability and employment preference. At Lacuna, you\'ll work with 5–6 clients per day using a trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy model of your choice. We consider ourself a training clinic, so we will support your learning in effective attachment focused therapy.

Lacuna is a private practice with a warm, thoughtfully designed space and a strong client base. We primarily see privately paying clients, as well as those referred under Mental Health Care Plans and through the Australian Defence Force.

Qualifications
  • Full registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA or Clinical Psychology Registrar
  • Eligibility to provide services under Medicare
  • Experience and interest in evidence-based, trauma-informed therapy
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Professional indemnity insurance and ABN (or willingness to obtain) for contractors
  • A 65/35 percentage split between clinician and practice
  • Employment available with training included
  • Dedicated on-site administration support to handle all referrals, bookings and billing
