Job Title: Senior Linux and UNIX Systems Administrator

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage and support enterprise infrastructure across both on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Administer IBM AIX and Linux systems
  • Perform OS hardening, patching, and configuration reviews
  • Manage IBM Power hardware (HMC, LPAR) and apply security best practices

You will also provide daily support, maintain a customer-first approach in all interactions, work closely with IT teams and application owners, own tasks independently while contributing to shared goals, manage backups, restores, and network capacity planning.

Additionally, you will prepare SOC Type 2 audit evidence and technical documentation, support internal and external audits with logs and artefacts.

You are a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for internal customer service and a collaborative mindset. You bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant enterprise experience in systems management
  • 5+ years' experience in Linux and Unix server administration
  • Expertise in IBM Power hardware, HMC, and LPAR management
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, FortiGate Firewalls, and Rocket Software Web DE
  • Strong analytical thinking and sound judgment
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business.
