We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join our team at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions. As an Inventory Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of spare parts inventory across our Australian controlled stockrooms.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the fulfillment of parts inventory in stockrooms, ensuring timely delivery and minimal logistic costs.
- Provide operational performance reporting to the Business, highlighting key metrics and trends.
- Support the flow of Sandvik products to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, with a focus on EHS compliance.
- Improve customer experience and availability of parts in stockrooms.
- Responsible for sales stock, goods in transit, production stock, and obsolescence reserve in stockrooms.
- Analyze and maintain inventory parameters for standard assortment in stockrooms.
- Coordinate with warehouse managers to drive improvement activities related to inventory control.
- Drive stock optimization initiatives, including returns processes.
- Participate in regional and global initiatives as needed.
- Experience in Inventory Planning and Inventory Management, with people management responsibilities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Inventory management/planning would be an advantage.
- Exposure to the supply of spare parts to the mining or automotive industry would be beneficial.
- Computer literacy, with the ability to plan, develop, and implement effectively.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and business management tools, including Voyager and Systems 21.
- SAP S4 Hana experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
- Superior communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving set goals and targets.
- Strong team or relationship management experience.
