About The Role
As a Vocational Education and Training Specialist, you will deliver high-quality vocational education, training, and competency-based assessment in specified programs in a range of settings, including classrooms, workplaces, and online environments. We are committed to making a real difference for students and industry across the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality vocational education, training, and competency-based assessment in specified programs
- Develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of students and industry
- Assess student competence and provide feedback
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment materials
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or currently studying (enrolled and actively working towards completing TAE)
- Cert III in Individual Support Ageing
- Cert III in Disability
- Minimum of 3 years industry experience
- Relevant vocational qualification and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, etc.
- Understanding of cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity
- Ability to identify language, literacy, and numeracy issues
- Adaptability in communication style to suit audience and context
- Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
- Understanding of concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning
- Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, communication, collaboration, and presentations
