About the Role

Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking a dedicated and passionate Indigenous Art Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our education team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality vocational education and training in Indigenous Art to students within the correctional system.

Your expertise in Indigenous Art will enable you to design and deliver engaging and culturally relevant programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality vocational education and training programs in Indigenous Art
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our students, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of our education programs and services
Requirements
  • TAE40110 or TAE40116 (including TAEASS501 and TAELLN411) or higher VET teaching qualification
  • Vocational qualifications and competencies in Indigenous Art
  • Strong communication and engagement skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team and autonomously
