About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Risk Management Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of our Risk Management Framework and Strategy (RMFS).

You will contribute to the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing delivery of our RMFS to enable effective risk management across the organisation. This includes coordinating the implementation of strategic and emerging risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.

You will also support the design, establishment, and ongoing review of our RMFS governance structures, monitor adherence to our ESG framework, and coordinate related reporting.

As a key member of our team, you will provide effective review and challenge as part of participation in the decision-making process, ensuring that material decisions are risk-based and supported by effective risk frameworks.

This is a highly visible role within the business, requiring strong change management, project management, and time management skills. You will manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and managing a high-volume workload of often-changing priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline, such as law, finance, business, or audit. You will have demonstrated experience in compliance management within the finance and banking industry, with a sound understanding of relevant laws and regulations.

You will also possess strong inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A proven track record of designing and implementing effective risk and compliance management frameworks is essential for this role.
