Violin Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instrumental music tutor to provide individual tuition for preliminary students through to VCE in violin at our campus.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience as an instrumental music tutor, and possess the following characteristics:

  • Demonstrated commitment to our school's values and mission
  • Ability to provide a positive example to students and fellow staff members through their teaching practice, manner, relationships and lifestyle
  • Ability to offer flexible teaching methods to suit individual student needs
  • Experience preparing students for AMEB and VCE exams
  • Experience directing strings orchestra and/or strings quartet (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to create a charismatic and enjoyable teaching environment for students
