Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
This full time leadership position carries a three-year tenure and includes a substantive ongoing teaching role. Working closely with the wider co-curricular music department and ensembles, this role will develop and nurture the musical learning of all Rathfarnham students. Along with providing a stimulating classroom music learning environment, you will give support and assistance to the Director of Music in relation to the annual calendar of events planned across the school.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role, including experience as a junior school music classroom practitioner. Proficiency in the Kodály music curriculum and choral direction is essential. Strong relationship-building and team management skills are crucial for success in this position. A level of proficiency in a band or string instrument and keyboard accompaniment skills will be highly regarded.
