Job Title: Community Safety Officer

About the Role:
This role will involve leading the way in strengthening public safety and building preparedness through innovative programs and powerful community partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will assist during emergencies, providing vital coordination, communication, and support to keep the community safe. You will also collect and analyse data on community risks to inform proactive safety initiatives and emergency preparedness. Additionally, you will collaborate with emergency services, community groups, and internal teams to develop and implement effective safety and emergency management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with emergency services, community groups, and internal teams to develop and implement effective safety and emergency management initiatives.

  • Experience in program development, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting relationships with the community and partner agencies.
