At our organization, we're dedicated to creating a more sociable future for our customers and teams. We're seeking a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney.
This role will involve supporting leaders and team members with complex employee relations matters and investigating grievances. You will provide guidance and information, relating to the situation, appropriate legislation and HR policies to deliver robust, commercially considered recommendations and outcomes.
- Provide coaching and support development of team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other People teams to plan and execute ongoing services.
- Execute the day-to-day operational delivery of employee relations case management and investigation services across several regions.
- Represent our organization in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals.
- Support and guide the business with industrial disputes and issues outside of the bargaining processes.
- Analyse and deliver employee relations insights to drive strategic business decisions.
- Advise on the impact of legislation updates and changes.
- Support various ER/IR compliance activities and changes initiatives resulting from changes to enterprise agreements, modern awards and legislation.
- Extensive experience in HR or ER (5 + Years), with demonstrable experience in managing complex HR/ER matters.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant ER legislation within different jurisdictions and application in policy.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated capacity in providing commercial, risk managed yet fast and simple HR/ER initiatives to line managers and business.
- Experience leading large teams in service delivery.
- Experience in representing or advocacy at the fair work commission.
- A passion for developing and coaching a high performing team.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, ER, Employment Law or relevant field and/or significant relevant experience.
