School Vaccination Program Leader Opportunity

Our team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Immuniser to take on the role of leading our school-based vaccination program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with schools across the district to deliver effective immunisation services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure timely and successful delivery of school-based vaccination programs.
  • Liaise with public health teams to support the development and implementation of area immunisation strategies.
  • Provide education and information on immunisation practices to healthcare professionals and the community.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead our school-based vaccination program. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating planning and implementation, as well as responding to queries from health professionals and the public.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Registered Nurse, Authorised Nurse Immuniser.
  • Registration: AHPRA.
  • Post-registration nursing experience and recent experience in immunisation.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to use word processing, access database, power point and excel programs.
  • Strong ability to communicate with healthcare providers and members of the public on immunisation issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary public health team.
