Occupational Therapist - Complex Assessment Role
">We are seeking an experienced occupational therapist to join our team in a complex assessment role. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of clinical experience and possess strong functional assessment skills, confident clinical reasoning, and excellent written communication.
">In this role, you will undertake independent client-centred functional assessments, review medical and allied health information, and prepare clear, evidence-based reports addressing equipment, treatment, care needs, and support hours. You will also liaise professionally with referrers, clients, and multidisciplinary stakeholders, maintain timely documentation, quality standards, and confidentiality requirements, and occasionally attend court as an expert witness.
">To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 8 years post-graduate clinical experience in adult rehabilitation, community, hospital, or specialist practice. You will also require strong functional assessment skills, confident clinical reasoning, excellent written communication, and professional, reliable, and time management skills. A current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance are also essential.
