Job Title: Fit Testing Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct Quantitative Fit Testing (QNFT) of Respiratory Protection Devices (RPDs). This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a real difference in the health and safety of staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct QNFT on RPDs to ensure they provide an adequate seal against respiratory pathogens
  • Use various machines to measure the leakage of particles from inside the mask compared with the surrounding ambient air
  • Identify the RPD's capacity to seal to an individual's face and use fit testing protocols to replicate the types of movements that are likely when wearing a respirator
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective infection prevention and control practices are in place
  • Maintain accurate records of fit testing results and communicate them to relevant stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in respiratory protection and fit testing technologies
