Transportation Leader

We are seeking an experienced and influential Transportation Leader to lead our team in shaping the future of transportation in a major city.

This is a unique opportunity to transform the ways that people move within and around a city. As a key member of our Infrastructure Program, you will provide strategic guidance, support, and assistance to transport planners, engineers, and advisors.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in delivering transport strategies, planning, and projects, as well as knowledge of practical design of safe pedestrian, cycling, and public transport movement systems in relation to traffic and parking.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team with 6 direct reports to achieve high-quality outcomes
  • Providing motivational leadership within a technical environment
  • Delivering transport strategies, planning, and projects
  • Advising on transport matters across various areas

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in leading cultural change and providing specialist design guidance and advice. They will also have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
