We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Procurement Project Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing direct support to the Project Manager in implementing the project's social procurement strategy.

The role entails delivering outcomes related to building equality policy, creating job opportunities for individuals facing barriers to employment, and promoting gender equality in construction projects. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop policies and actions that support women in the industry and empower youth.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, tracking and monitoring social procurement commitment proposal implementation, and reviewing and reporting on project gender equality action plans. You will also be responsible for coordinating sub-contractor compliance reporting and providing timely updates on local jobs first and social procurement performance.

To succeed in this role, you will need relevant qualifications in training and assessment, procurement, or a related field. Experience in presentations, stakeholder engagement, and business development is essential, as well as a strong understanding of social procurement impacts and current policies. We are looking for someone who is proactive, influential, and passionate about social procurement, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
