The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct clinical nursing care to residents, working in a safe and supportive environment, and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures
- Acting as Team Leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
- A Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification
- A thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues
- Strong coaching/training skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Competent IT skills
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
