Training and Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Training and Development Specialist to lead our training initiatives.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and delivering training requirements to ensure our engineering staff are qualified and compliant in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver internal training courses for targeted audiences.
  • Sourcing external training courses, venues, and resources aligned with our objectives.
  • Liaise with subject matter experts to ensure course currency and development.
  • Create and update training manuals and guides.
  • Maintain company training records and equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Promote safety, security, OH&S, and environmental compliance in line with our standards.

Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent qualification in adult education.
  • Aircraft Maintenance Trade or CASA Part 66 Cat B license.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
  • Innovative approach to designing and implementing training packages.
  • Strong computing skills (Microsoft Office suite).
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize work commitments.
  • Recent experience developing and delivering engineering-related training courses.
  • Thorough understanding of CASR Parts 145 and 147.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems and Authorizing Software.
  • Experience with Embraer E190 and Fokker F70/100 is highly desirable.
