The Role:

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Non-Destructive Testing Traineeship Program. As a trainee, you will gain practical 'in field' experience in NDT methodologies, while undertaking studies in Engineering at either Certificate or Advanced Diploma levels.

Trainees who successfully complete the Certificate III and meet the technical and non-technical requirements have the opportunity to complete an Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) and advanced NDT qualifications. This will enable you to work independently as a NDT Technician within our business.

All qualifications and training expenses are fully funded by Bureau Veritas Group.

What's Needed:

Ideally, you will have previous experience and the following skillsets:

  • Year 12 and pass marks in Maths, English and Science; OR
  • Commenced a mechanical trade certification
  • Mechanical aptitude or an interest in how mechanical things work
  • A 'can do' attitude and a willingness to travel and work flexible hours

The Benefits:

Our trainees have the opportunity to earn while they learn by working with experienced technicians in the field. Trainees in Bureau Veritas Group earn a 1st year base salary of 43K, but potential with OT to earn an average annual salary of $70,000 incl. overtime after their first year.
