Job Overview

As a senior principal engineer in Kubernetes compute, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teams to deliver transformational solutions that drive business growth.
  • Tackle complex technical problems from design to implementation and launch.
  • Work across engineering teams to adopt new technologies efficiently.
  • Partner with senior leaders to build strategic solutions.
  • Own key objectives and outcomes of critical projects in a microservices environment.
  • Drive developer productivity initiatives and hire and mentor engineers.
Qualifications
  • Deep technical expertise and 10+ years of experience designing/building enterprise-grade platforms.
  • Fluency in current landscape (compute technologies including containerized and serverless architecture).
  • Experience understanding teams' pain points increasing dev productivity.
  • A track record driving resolution of extremely complex issues.
  • Experience with infrastructure at a scale that pushes vendor limits.
  • Experience recognising, raising, and reconciling gaps and opportunities across organisations.
Bonus Skills
  • Experience with public cloud (AWS) and cloud data and storage technologies.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Service Mesh technologies and networking technologies.
