BIM Team Lead - Electrical

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced electrical BIM team lead to oversee the creation, modification and updating of current drafting and BIM standards, processes and libraries in our Sydney office.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction/architectural industries and experience across various sectors. They will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing BIM standards, processes and libraries
  • Mentoring, training, managing and assisting in growing the electrical BIM team
  • Reviewing current systems and advising management on improvements or processes for implementation
  • Ensuring the associated BIM team meets quality assurance obligations
  • Providing feedback on tender documentation models and drawings

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Experience within a BIM/architectural capacity
  • Strong knowledge of construction/architectural industries
  • Experience across various construction sectors
  • Proven ability to liaise with site managers and present information effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Tafe qualification in Revit/Autocad drawings
  • Direct work experience in REVIT
  • Proven experience in risk management and change management
