Job Title

A visionary leader is required to oversee the implementation and development of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across Sydney Airport. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering BIM projects, developing and advocating standards, and collaborating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight and advocacy of BIM implementation and development across SYD
  • Management and support of BIM Coordinators
  • Development of BIM content library including families, templates, title blocks, documentation of processes and standards
  • Delivery of Digital Information Plans and Strategies
  • Design and delivery of internal training programs
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, designers, architects, engineers, and BIM Coordinators
  • Coordination and oversight of the SYD master BIM ensuring data structure integrity, conformity with SYD's data definitions and standards
  • Review of BIM budgets within project contracts
  • Development and review of BIM Execution Plans for each project
  • Liaison with supply chain BIM Managers and coordination of information distribution to SYD consultants and project partners

About You

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in BIM, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence and articulate complex concepts effectively. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant software tools.
