Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to join our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components
  • Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve equipment issues
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to achieve efficient and effective equipment operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in diesel engine technology

Requirements

  • Strong background in mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Experience with diesel engine repair and maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • C Class (or above) driver's license
  • High risk license (Forklift and/or mobile non-slewing crane) and air conditioning ticket highly desirable
