The Role

This dedicated team member plays a vital role in delivering high-quality catering support services in our Home. They are passionate about supporting clinical and care teams, ensuring nutritious meals and refreshments are provided while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up dining areas and servery ready for each meal period according to standards.
  • Assisting with meal preparation when required.
  • Monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Plan, such as temperatures and cleaning schedules.
Requirements

A team player who can adapt to various situations, with previous experience in providing catering assistance or hospitality desirable but not essential. Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Food Standards and Food Safety, good communication skills, and digital literacy are also important qualities.
